venue, lush plantings, an abundance of seating in and adjacent to the central water features.

Winner of the Urban Design Award of Excellence and the People’s Choice Award.

The Arrival courtyard <Br> The arrival court offers front door drop off through pedestrian piazza for those not arriving on foot.  A series of grand stairs and ramps offers generous access to facilitate large volumes of arrivals.

A generous piazza connects the recessed Theatre building to the active street corner.

The seating steps  The piazza was designed as a performance venue.  The steps are combined to form amphitheater seating.  The Oval Fountain is designed to double as a stage.   The Theatre offers lunchtime performances to the downtown office crowd.

The Water wall under construction  The waterwall was designed as a foreground to a second outdoor stage in the Garden Plaza.  This construction photos shows the structural design of the granite seat that flanks the waterwall.

The sculpture garden  Lush plantings around the base of the Theatre offer a stage for art.  Brampton is known historically and currently as a Floral City.  They continue to utilize their expertise to keep the plant displays lush and majestic.
