Adaptive renovation of existing apartment buildings

Glass-walled amenity spaces were inserted into the ground floors of existing apartment building surrounding a central court. These spaces not only activate the entire apartment complex, but also provide additional “eyes on the street” and make the buildings much more friendly and accessible. This is carried out into the surrounding landscape with outdoor terraces defined by low stone walls and planting.
